Fillers

(Dermal) Fillers are injectables that have a volumizing effect. They are used to restore volume loss, improve contours (of the face and body) and reduce or soften wrinkles. Most fillers are hyaluronic acid-based. Other fillers such as calcium-hydroxylapatite or polylactic acid filler have an additional bio stimulatory effect that stimulates collagen production in the skin. Today’s fillers are biodegradable and have a temporary effect. Depending on the type of filler and the treatment location, fillers last approximately between six and twenty-four months.

Treatment areas for fillers include cheekbones, cheeks, jawline, liquid facelift, chin augmentation, lip augmentation, nose correction, nose-lip folds, marionette lines, corners of the mouth, sunken temples, brow elevator, tear ducts, neck, décolleté lines, deep and superficial wrinkles, and hand rejuvenation.
